Children's Museum of Eau Claire:  The latest and greatest renderings of the Children's Museum are worthy of a share. Fabrication has begun across the country and our team is thrilled to be at this stage of development with this project. The last image in this set demonstrates the real 3D scans of trees and a person shown for scale of just how massive and impressive these beautiful trees are.

Philadelphia Zoo Cheetah Climbers: We're back to the Philadelphia Zoo working on upgrading the space for their cheetahs. The concept for this design is for thick branches to sit on and climb, with the feel of a fallen tree and platforms to add shelter and a comfortable place to use as lookout spots.

Recent Bench Renderings: These two renderings are for different styles of benches, the first going to the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk, CT and the latter for trail seating.

Burkett Microgrid: After wrapping up the stunning structure for the Burkett Farm, we're back to working on a Microgrid solar carport area. We look forward to working on more solar projects!

Naytahwaush Health Center: WholeTrees is proud to partner with DSGW Architects to produce an entrance structure and interior atrium installation for the White Earth Nation’s health center in Naytahwaush, MN. These massive Doug Fir trees come from Port Blakely farms in the Pacific Northwest and simply dwarf our production team in comparison.

Philadelphia Zoo Gorilla Climber Video: This still is of the gorillas entering their new habitat and exploring the climber for the first time. Adorned with streamers and peanut butter for engagement, we have it on good authority that the trees were all they needed for curiosity to lead to play. Scroll to the bottom of the page for the full video. Our thanks to the Philadelphia Zoo's team for sharing this video with us.

Travel

Oldest Tree in Houston: Derek Mayhew, VP of Operations, stopped to grab a photo during one of his recent visits to American Pole and Timber, our fabrication partners in Houston, TX.

USGBC-LA Thought Leadership Series: Amelia will be included in a panel on the future of wood

Westby visit: While the Madison team makes semi-regular trips to Westby, we don't always capture photos of what goes on behind the scenes. Seen here are Naytahwaush and Children's Museum of Eau Claire from our POV.
