Nff Announces Winners Of 2015 Barrett Foundation Business Concept Challenge

WholeTrees co-founders, Roald Gundersen and Amelia Baxter, attended an awards event for the National Forest Foundation's Barrett Business Concept Award, where WholeTrees was honored as the Grand Prize Winner.  In attendance, the Under Secretary of Natural Resources and Environment, Robert Bonnie, Ray Foote and Mary Mitsos, of the National Forest Foundation, and Dr. Craig Barrett, retired CEO and Chair of Intel.

WholeTrees sells innovative structural products made of natural round timber, the waste product of well-managed forests.  The company also develops technologies for sourcing, grading, and specifying this abundant and strong structural material so that the forest products industry can scale the use of round timber internationally...
